The Maryland Coalition for Responsible Transit formed in January of 2020 by a group of concerned professionals from Prince Georges and Anne Arundel Counties in Maryland to evaluate transportation proposals from a broad array of perspectives and communicate our findings and recommendations to decisional officers and educate the public.
Mission
Our Mission is to evaluate transit projects for social equity, environmental justice, economic viability, and community accessibility- support those that meet our vision and oppose the projects that do not meet with our vision.
Vision
The MCRT's vision is to evaluate transportation systems that are affordable, reliable, integrated, and have little to no impact on the environment, as well as provide all communities with access.
